ECWA has grown tremendously since it was incorporated in 1956 with only 7 DCCs to the present state where it has 74 DCCs and a membership of over 6 million. There is no doubt that ECWA has impacted positively the lives of millions of people in and outside Nigeria today. However, there is a need to find out what and how the church is doing today. What are the realities facing the church today? What are the opportunities, threats and challenges facing the church today? How has the church performed? What strategies should the church adopt in order to be the light and salt of the society? What does God want ECWA to focus on in the future? What is the mind of God for ECWA? How does God want ECWA to address some of the critical issues we face in Nigeria today? These questions can only be answered through the process of strategic thinking and acting.
